David Wadler’s Assorted Thoughts

So the Farrelly brothers are pissed off that Matt Parker and Trey Stone “ripped off” their idea about having a ringer compete in the Special Olympics. The Farrelly’s move, aptly named The Ringer, debuts now while the South Park episode that provoked their ire dates back to 2004. I’m not pissed at all, but it seems I have every right to be. I wrote an obnoxious sketch about cheating the Special Olympics in 2003. The truth of the matter is that none of us has cornered the market for bad taste.

Arabian horse lover, former FEMA Director and poster child for nepotism, Mike Brown, is starting a disaster planning firm. I guess I don’t need a punchline…..
